Wavecare has contributed with a case in the Innovation and Research category, Presenting: “Sensory delivery room reduces stress and enhances birth experience.”
The case from Slagelse Hospital illustrates how Wavecare’s sensory delivery rooms, featuring light, sound, and calming nature scenes – help create a sense of calm and presence during a vulnerable and life-changing moment, benefiting both birthing women and healthcare staff.
The publication is actively used to showcase how Denmark is developing future-proof hospital services through infrastructure, digitalisation, and patient-centred design.
