Mental Health Innovation Day 2024
Wavecare was proud to participate in Mental Health Innovation Day 2024, hosted by Sundhedsinnovation Region Sjælland. As one of the selected companies, we had the opportunity to present our work with sensory technology for mental health care, and to engage with professionals and innovators dedicated to improving treatment environments in psychiatry.
During the event, we showcased our mobile sensory solution developed for Sikringen at Slagelse Forensic Psychiatry. The solution creates calming, sensory-rich environments through light, sound and nature content, and it attracted considerable interest from attendees wanting to learn how sensory technology can be integrated into both existing psychiatric facilities and future hospital designs.
The day offered insightful presentations on innovation and new technologies in mental health care, along with valuable discussions on how digital and sensory solutions can support patients, reduce agitation and promote regulation of arousal as a non-pharmacological intervention.
