On June 15, 2023, co-founder Bjørn Wennerwald, on behalf of Wavecare, attended Her Majesty the Queen’s banquet to celebrate the official visit of the Norwegian royal couple to Denmark. Bjørn had the honor of sitting next to Crown Princess Mary, with whom he shares a common interest in vulnerable individuals.
This is a recognition from the highest authority that the method we have developed at Wavecare for psychiatry and obstetrics has contributed to significant positive changes and inspired a new way of thinking by integrating it into a clinical process.
In Denmark and worldwide, Wavecare is an example of how results can be achieved for society through collaboration between the Danish public healthcare system and private companies. Ultimately, it’s about creating jobs and exports. Life sciences have become one of Denmark’s most important exports, and Wavecare is already contributing to this.
At this dinner, Bjørn represented thousands of people who have contributed over the years to what Wavecare is today, including healthcare professionals, patients, politicians, research institutions, developers, and, most importantly, his life and work partner, Eva Wennerwald, who has fought by his side but unfortunately could not be present.
An experience that will remain an everlasting memory in his consciousness, thanks to Her Majesty the Queen.
